Yahara Supports Safer Training for Local Fire Departments

As Yahara works with local land development projects and begins excavation, we are often tasked with removing old structures to make way for the new work. Recognizing the importance of hands-on experience in firefighting, we proudly provided two separate houses slated for demolition to the Fitchburg Fire Department.

Offering these buildings to our local fire department gave these brave firefighters a rare opportunity to practice their skills in a real-life scenario.  The fire department was able to set a controlled fire at each location and run training scenarios to ensure our firefighters are prepared for live fires.

By donating these buildings, we helped the fire department prepare for actual emergencies and improve response strategies. Yahara hopes to consistently showcase the positive impact businesses have on public safety and the communities we are in.

This vital training exercise helps ensure our firefighters are well-prepared to protect our community.  In fact, we have another one slated to burn in the future. Thank you to our local fire departments and firefighters for all you do! We are grateful to help in any way we can!
